To make sweet and sour chicken, you will need chicken breasts, peppers, carrots, and onions.
Cut the chicken into cubes and season with salt and black pepper. Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and dried coriander. You can also add chili powder if you like.
Mix the seasoning with the chicken and then coat it with corn starch. Fry the chicken in oil until it is cooked on both sides and set it aside.
In a separate pan, cook the onions in vegetable oil or sesame oil for one minute. Add the carrots and colored peppers and stir for two minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.
Return the chicken to the pan with the vegetables.
To make the sweet and sour sauce, mix together ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, garlic powder, paprika, dried coriander, corn starch, and water. Add the sauce to the vegetables and chicken and stir for five minutes.
In a separate pot, stir washed rice with vegetable oil. Add colored peppers, green onion, and cabbage. Mix well and add enough water to cover the surface of the rice. Cook on low heat for 20 minutes.
Your sweet and sour chicken and rice is now ready to serve!
