Today I am going to share my recipe for sweet and sour chicken. I have marinated the chicken with white pepper and sea salt. Meanwhile, I prepared the sweet and sour sauce with tomato ketchup, sweet chili sauce, sugar, dark soy sauce, and vinegar. For the butter, I mixed octopus flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, egg whites, and cold water. After dipping the chicken in the butter, I fried it in vegetable oil.
In a hot wok, I added oil, red peppers, and chopped onions. After sauteing briefly, I added the chicken to coat it with the flavors of the vegetables. Finally, I added the sweet and sour sauce and sesame seeds. Crushed pineapples can be added if desired.
